First 21km event from KRI. I am not well prepared, not putting any hope, just like a normal run to top up my half marathon quota.
I've been follow closely by someone from team relay and push very hard until half of the journey, start regret that I comsume too much energy at the first half, end up with slow down after 15km.

Still try my very best to finished the 21.12km distance with sub 1:50 timing.

Race Report: Safra Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon 2012

Safra Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon, an event that I wish to join since few year ago, and I make it this year, as most of the time I am working in Southern of Malaysia, just take this opportunity to join.

Flag off early at 5:15am, good to avoid from sunshine if can do 1:45. I know it is impossible for me, but I still try very hard, follow 1:45 pacer and ahead them until 8km, I know that I am push myself too much, and  I just recover from flu few days ago, listen to my body and slow down my pace.

Drink station is sufficient enough, almost every 2km++, two banana stations, and about 8 or 9 performance team along the route.

Crossed finishing line with 1'52:49, my PB (Personal Bad) timing since 2009 in half marathon. Worst than Sundown 2010.

First half marathon event in Seberang Perai area, organized by MPSP with assist by a group of runners from Penang. I am proud to be a small part of the committee team as well, join the team as survey run runner, and photographer after my run.

I've run the route before during survey run, but it wasn't an advantage for me too, lucky all the way flat so that I manage to do with better timing.

4 drink station served water, prefer isotonic drink will be better. Flag off time at 5:00am is good for runners but is a disadvantage for photographer when snap photo.

Race Report: Seremban Half Marathon

Flag off while drizzling, and it is good for me, not that warm.

I was stop from weekdays regular training for almost 3 months, not aim for good results, just hope can completed it with injury free.

Felt that a lot of runners overtook me, especially after 11km onwords, I know my ace was too slow already.

Traffic control from 8km to 11km was not that good, anyhow still unfer control.

Drink station were sufficient enough, served water and sports drink, sponging station also available.

As usual, the last one km around Seremban Lake Garden area was most messy, run together with vehicle.

Suprising saw brother Tey Eng Tiong snap photo at Seremban Lake Garden area. Thanks a lot and appreciated for the photos.

Crossed finishing line with my PB (Personal Bad) at Seremban with 1'50:54 gun time...

Nice medal, my fifth medal from Seremban Half Marathon.

Race Report: Ipoh International Run 2012

Last minute sign up for this event sfter skip for 2 year. Ipoh route know as flat as airport runway, I not putting a lot of hope in this run, just hope to completed it.

Started  pace with Annie Yee, but I was give up after 3km, just can saw her back before she lost in my vision after 9km++. Anyhow I still completed first 12km with 59 min 27 sec, much more better than SCKLM and Sundown.

Weather getting hot after 14km++ at Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Kampung Simee area, felt suffer after 17km+ when meet up a lot slow 10km, 7km runner. Pace become slow down, when reach 19km+, saw brother Tey and Chuah Sakura were snap photos there, I know I was near to finishing.

Run into stadium area and push for last few hundred meter, crossed finishing line with 1'40:50 for under distance half marathon (19.88km).

Glad to completed my 50th half marathon in my entire running life, more half marathon to come....
